She talks to Rainbows...

A bone to pick with those Twilight books

Ok, so after FINALLY finishing the fourth book, I just have to let some stuff out. a) why the HELL did I not write something like this? It’s just so obvious, I kick myself for it. Kudos to Stephenie Meyer for taking everything that an typical, girly, adolescent female could want and turning it into a series…however I have a problem with books that show no new insights and that I could’ve written with a little alcohol and egotism.  b) the end of the 4th book was soooo sickening in its happy-life-is-perfect-Bella-is-and-has-everything-a-teenage-girl-dreams-about to be nearly vomit inducing. For serious. Bleh!  c) If it takes any longer to get to the action in these books a reader would require immortality and the patience of a saint to get through them.

Maybe I’m just not cut out for Young Adult Romance novels…like eating too much candy. Sweet, but there’s an empty feeling when it’s down. And can you just imagine the mental cavities left behind in young girls, left looking for an Edward to fill the void?  Crazy!

Ok, bitter hag shutting up now, lol.
