She talks to Rainbows...

I have been seeing familiar faces on unfamiliar people.  Keep doing double takes, ‘wait, there goes so-and-so’ and then I realize that that person lives 5000 miles away. Either people look more alike than we think, my memory of my friends’ faces is blurring, or I REALLY need a new prescription for my glasses. Whatever the case, it is a bizarre feeling that leaves me feeling torn in time and space and disoriented for  afew seconds. Weird.

I also dreamt about my friends all night the other night and woke up in the morning knnowing that the only thing I wanted to do was visit them back East. 5 seconds after waking up I had a plan to get a throwaway summer job with good tips just so I could afford plane fare. Haven’t been that sure of anything I wanted in awhile. Maybe it’s the one year anniversary of graduation eating at my subconscious.
